This Victorian house, built in 1889 for Master Mariner Mr Blake, who's family kept the house until 1947 when it was sold and converted to a guest house.

More recently Woodlands Guest House has undergone substantial renovation and inclusion of en-suite facilities, even so the best features of it's original character and relaxed homely atmosphere have been perserved.

Woodlands is situated in a quiet road and has a commanding view of the town, sea harbour and Torbay. It is an excellent base for family holidays in Devon, or a weekend break in Devon, being centrally located and just a short walk to shops, restaurants, harbour and the sea.
